How to read pop-up analytics
Analyzing user behavior, engagement metrics, and content performance provides invaluable insights into how individuals interact with online content, in this case with your website's dynamic pop-ups. A clear view of your pop-ups' impact will empower you and your brand with informed decision-making, enabling continuous improvement and the creation of more engaging content.
- To access your pop-up analytics through the ContactPigeon platform, click on the On site button from the left side menu and then scroll down to Dynamic Pop-ups.
Then, choose the pop-up you want to review from the list and click on Analytics.
This step will redirect you to the success rate of your pop-up.
In this example, the period picker is set to the last 2 months, but you can always choose the time interval of your preference.
Set the period you wish to review and click on Generate report. This will create a full overview of your pop-up analytics.
Here you can see some general metrics, like the all-time conversions.
Below, you can view more advanced metrics for the period you previously picked:
- impressions, i.e., the users that viewed the pop-up
- conversions, meaning the users that have clicked on the pop-up.
- conversion rate
- orders
- revenue and
- registered clients
Scrolling down, you can gain a more detailed overview of your pop-up's performance. The first dashboard shows the daily impressions, interactions, and orders in general.
Moving down, you can view the daily impression and interaction frequency of your dynamic pop-up.
Likewise, you have the power to evaluate the hourly interaction frequency and figure out the exact times of day that your customers are more active.
The last dashboard at the bottom will provide you with an in-depth view of your pop-up's daily impressions, conversions, and conversion rate for the time interval you chose in the previous steps.
