Setting up automated Push Notifications
Automated Push Notifications serve as powerful tools to re-engage potential customers and drive revenue, reaching a wider audience as they are meant for devices and appear to the user in real time. By strategically triggering personalized messages based on user's actions, such as items left in the cart or products browsed, retailers can recapture attention, prompt return visits, and ultimately drive conversions.
To set up your Automated Push Notifications, go to the left side menu, click on the Automation button, and select Push Automations.
This will redirect you to the automated push notifications menu, where you can choose the category of your preference.
- Set up a browse abandonment automated push notification for users who browsed a product and didn't make a purchase.
- Choose a cart abandonment automated push notification for those who abandoned their products in their carts.
- Raise awareness with a price drop automated push notification for visitors who have previously viewed products and now their prices dropped. This feature is coming soon, so please contact your assigned account manager should you require assistance.
Tip: for maximum conversions and efficiency, set up both a browse and a cart automated push notification. If the visitor has added a product to the cart, and you have also enabled the cart reminder, he will not receive the browse abandonment. So you can activate both automations without worrying.
Launching an automated browse abandonment push notification
Clicking on the "browse abandonment" category will take you to the category's menu, where you can customize a series of notifications.
- In this example, the first notification will be sent to your registered devices 24 hours after viewing a product.
- Click on the "24 hours" button to set up the time interval you want your push notification to appear. Once you have selected the period of your choosing from the drop-down menu, press the "Apply changes" button.
- Click on the "Title" button to edit the title of your automated browse abandonment push notification. Once you have selected the title of your choosing, press the "Apply changes" button. The rest of the fields are filled automatically with dynamic content based on the user's actions, so there is no need to change anything.
- Turn on the switch by sliding the button to the right side and click on Save flow to launch your 24-hour automated browse abandonment push notification.
- To set up a second 48-hour automated browse abandonment push notification, scroll down and follow the same steps as shown above. Same, if you want a third 36-hour notification. You can always change the periods according to your preference.
Launching an automated cart abandonment push notification
Clicking on the "cart abandonment" category will take you to the category's menu, where you can customize a series of notifications.
- In this example, the first notification will be sent to your registered devices 1 hour after adding a product to their cart.
- Click on the "1 hour" button to set up the time interval you want your push notification to appear. Once you have selected the period of your choosing from the drop-down menu, press the "Apply changes" button.

- Like in the automated browse abandonment, to activate your cart reminder push notification, turn on the switch by sliding the button to the right side. Click on Save flow to launch your 1-hour automated cart abandonment push notification.
- Moreover, to set up a second 24-hour automated cart abandonment push notification, scroll down and follow the same steps as before. Same, if you want a third 48-hour cart reminder notification. You can always change the periods according to your preference.
