Visitors Stream

A live visitor stream, in the context of omnichannel customer engagement platforms and websites, refers to a real-time display or feed that shows the recent and current users or visitors actively interacting with the site. It can be used by website administrators, store owners, marketers, or support teams to gain valuable insights into user engagement, monitor site activity, and respond promptly to user interactions. This tool can contribute to a more proactive and responsive approach to managing and optimizing the online user experience.

ContactPigeon's visitors' stream provides live, immediate, and dynamic information about users accessing the website, displaying details such as their geographical location, pages they are viewing, the exact time of their visit, and their general behavior in real-time.

Step 1.

To access the live stream, go to the Analytics tab on the left-side menu and click on Visitors Stream.

Step 2.

After you click on the Visitors Stream button, you can see detailed information about your visitors' live behavior on your website.

More precisely, you can see their location, the day and time of their last visit, and the visitor's email. You can also identify if the visitors are known or unknown (unknown users have the phrase "not signed in" next to their email).

Additionally, you can gain insights into specific actions, like the products they bought, the pages they visited, and the events they triggered.

Step 3.

For additional information, click on the magnifying glass icon. Here you can see the browser that your visitors used, their geolocation (IP address), and their recent history.
