Registered devices
When a device gives consent to receive push notifications in the browser, this means that upon visiting the site, any user who has accepted push notifications is automatically added to ContactPigeon as a Registered Device.
Reduced Registered devices
If the number of registered devices in an account has decreased, it is likely due to a large number of registrations expiring within a short period. This process is not controlled by ContactPigeon, as all registrations are stored on Google’s servers.
Furthermore, Google determines which registrations will "expire," and their duration is not the only factor. For example, registrations may be deleted if the server they are stored on requires additional space, experiences high traffic, or for other unspecified reasons that Google does not disclose. Consequently, there is no specific way to explain why each registration is removed.
Devices are regularly deleted from accounts; however, typically, the number of new registrations exceeds the number of expirations.
